Antony Armstrong-Jones was a British photographer and the 1st Earl of Snowdon. He was born on March 7, 1930, in London, England, and died on January 13, 2017, at the age of 86. He was the only son of Ronald Armstrong-Jones and Anne Messel. Antony attended Eton College and later studied at Jesus College, Cambridge.
Antony gained popularity for his works as a photographer after he was commissioned to take photographs of the Royal family and Princess Margaret in particular. His photography career saw him take portraits of notable personalities, including politicians, actors, and musicians. He was also an established designer, furniture maker, and filmmaker.
